Irrigation Concepts is a full service irrigation design firm capable of fulfilling architects, landscape architects, engineers, environmental land planners and general contractors every need.

Utilizing the latest in Autocad technology (Version 2018), combined with over thirty five years of field installation and service input, Irrigation Concepts can create a full set of bid documents complete with specifications and details, all of which pertain to the actual design in hand.

Each project is treated individually, taking in all facets of the construction process including cost estimates and long term maintenance issues, all while understanding the most complex central control systems and pump stations.

In addition, Irrigation Concepts is deadline savvy and also retains up to one million dollars of errors and omission insurance.

Ron Newberg - President and Founder Mr. Newberg is the President and Founder of Irrigation Concepts, Inc., Newberg Irrigation, Inc., and Irrigational Technical Services, Inc. Under his guidance, the organization operates with a "one company" philosophy that maximizes its resources and expertise on projects and business pursuits. His leadership exemplifies a strong family culture, advocating a continued commitment to ensuring the highest standards of safety, ethics, and core values. In the 40+ years Ron has headed up the organization, he has developed many relationships among decision makers and industry professionals. Ron has advanced comprehensive solutions to the challenges of design, construction and management of large irrigation projects, with an emphasis on new technologies and the implementation of water conservation methods.

Joel Newberg - Principle Mr. Newberg has been a respected partner in the irrigation industry for over forty years. During that time he has had a major influence in the planning, construction and the successful completion of many major irrigation projects. He has seen the industries many changes and technological advancements and applies this knowledge uniquely to each project. He has been called on as an industry spokesman and has appeared on TV and seminars. He continues to stay in the forefront of the industry by attending numerous continuing education seminars and workshops earning IA and manufacturers certifications. Gary Babich - Veteran Irrigation Industry Professional Mr. Babich has over thirty-five years of experience in the irrigation industry. Gary attended Florida Southern College (Lakeland, Florida) where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1978. In addition, Mr. Babich has received several certificates of design from schools and seminars held by the major manufacturers in the irrigation industry, such as Toro, Hunter, Netafim and Rain Bird. Mr. Babich has attended various computer training courses related to AutoCAD design and GPS mapping. Gary’s consulting background has included developing design procedures, master planning, cost analysis and supervising/training staff.

Jason V. Bardo - Irrigation Design Mr. Bardo has five years of experience in irrigation design and has a diverse background creating AutoCAD drawings for architectural, engineering and mechanical companies since 2000. Jason has worked at Harvard Jolly Architects, St. Petersburg, Davis Bewes Design Group, Oldsmar and J.W. Smith Design Group, Palm Harbor and has completed courses in AutoCAD, Graphic Design, and Windows Management from St. Pete College.
